Did any of you still remember, how we use to dissect a frog in our biology laboratory?, well I did, and One thing that I remember is I wrongly cut the frog so that the frog is died miserably.
Well, Tactus Technologies, a provider of virtual reality, visualization and simulation products and services, has been developed and marketed a V-Frog. V-Frog is the first virtual-reality based frog dissection software and it allows a students to perform dissections on their computer.
The difference with other software is V-Frog offer real virtual reality, not just a 2D multi media. V-Frog operates on a personal computer using a standard mouse, and offers nearly unlimited manipulation of specimen tissue, and every dissection is unique based on user work. Imagine that the students can pick a scalpel, cut the frog skins playing around with the bladder, and the much better is this V-frog provide undo to undo my wrongly cut.
V-Frog passed an important milestone when California approved V-Frog for legal and social compliance as per their State board of Education guidelines. It is also in the final stages of a similar review in New York State.
